Every now and then you find yourself at a random location you meet random people talk about random things and then somebody puts on some very random music.
This happened to me about four years ago. I was at a house in the middle of nowhere with one of my friends and about six people i had just met. while chatting one of my new friends put on a CD the chat continued but all i could pay attention to was this completely perfect orchestral intro followed by a series of amazing breaks. I asked who the artist was and the name Hybrid was give to me.
As soon as i got home i searched the internet and found the album Wide Angle which i had to purchase there and then. I don't think any other CD i've brought as given me as much value for money I don't think any other CD i've brought has been so versatile.
With tracks such as ''If I Survive'' and ''High Life'' you are pounded with an array of blistering breaks and base lines that shake your senses and put you in an all night clubbing mood with seconds. Other tracks on the album include ''Finished Symphony'' a track filled with so much emotion and unique sounds this has to be my favorite all time electronic record.
If you have ever been a fan of any type of electronic music I'm sure you will enjoy this album. I've even had hardcore Drum'n'Base fans asking to hear more.
Hybrid have combined a Russian orchestra with a mixing studio and produces an album like no other. Completely original and completely breath taking.
I chose to get the limited edition version of the album called ''WIder Angle'' which includes a live CD recorded in Sydney but if you cannot find that ''Wide Angle'' is more than satisfactory. Every music lover should own a copy of this album
