Album Notes: One of the original stars of the classical crossover genre and veteran of the stage Sarah Brightman presents her first ever festive seasonal collection. 'A Winter Symphony' takes in, as might be expected, several festive favourites with Brightman's distinctive vocals guiding the listener through the likes of 'I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday', 'In The Bleak Midwinter' and Bach's 'Jesu Joy Of Man's Desiring'. There is a surprising range of material covered here, securing the reputation of Brightman as an interpreter of pieces both popular and classical. This is assurance enough that the release will appeal to both fans and newcomers seeking a festive accompaniment.

Advantages: Wonderful, beautiful voice of power. Operatic in quality. Disadvantages: None that I can think of.
...I couldn?t believe it when searching through the Ciao archives that nothing had been written on this wonderful singer SarahBrightman. Does this mean that nobody remembers her? I highly doubt it since today she is one of the world?s most successful superstars. SarahBrightman?s success has gone on in leaps and bounds since her musical days on London?s West End.
This year SarahBrightman celebrates 25 year since her first professional recording.
Born August 14, 1960 in Berkhampstead, England, SarahBrightman stepped into the world of performing arts at the early age of thirteen. She made her theatrical debut by starring in I and Albert at London's Piccadilly Theatre, in 1973 and from then on has moved far and wide across the Country. At 16, she became the youngest member of the dance group Pan's People, which was featured...

Advantages: features different characters Disadvantages: Barney!
...I really get fedup of watching the same childrens tv programmes over and over , so last week we were in Tesco`s and we spotted this dvd for £5. It has a variety of characters on here like Thomas the Tank Engine , Barney , Oswald and Fireman Sam with a wintery theme.
Here are some of my favourite episodes :-
Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends
The fogman
It is winter and is foggy , Cyril the fogman lays detenators on the tracks to warn the trains when there is fog.
The fat controller shows the trains a new invention a foghorn which is very noisy and the trains are really not impressed.
Cyril loses his job , Percy gets so annoyed with the foghorn because it is so noisy it makes the hillside shake and causes a landslide and is covered with rocks. The foghorn gets damaged , oh no not far away Thomas is on the track...

Advantages: Good balance of comedy and drama, good performances, quirky. Disadvantages: Horrid soundtrack, Samantha Mathis.
...The only reason I had a watch of Jack and Sarah was the constant comments I kept reading about how Kevin Smith's Jersey Girl was little more than a remake of it. While there are certainly some similar plot points, on the whole though I would say that the two are entirely different. The best part though was finding a nice little film that I probably would have missed otherwise.
Walking the line between drama and comedy is not an easy one for any film. If you're trying to push serious themes, it becomes difficult to crack jokes at the same time. Likewise, a dramatic event in a comedic film can be a very jarring experience that works against the film. I'm glad to say though that Jack and Sarah balances between the two very steadily, only stumbling from time to time.
The film focuses on Jack (Richard E Grant), a London lawyer who...
