Advantages: nice hits , nice lyrics , great features Disadvantages: a little girly in some tracks
...This is the second album of the newst rap and R&B artist on the market , and it had more succes than others that were released with it.
This version of the album Akon Deluxe Platinum Edition of Konvicted was released on August 28, 2007 and October 1 in UK . It featured three new songs including the hit single "Sorry, Blame It on Me". The new album will also include "Rush" featuring Kardinal Offishall which will appear in the summer blockbuster Rush Hour 3. The third song is a remix to "Don't Matter", which is the remix featured in the video near the end. The new Konvicted includes a documentary of Akon where visits his homeland, Senegal. Music videos of the hit singles "Smack That", "I Wanna Love You" and "Don't Matter" came with the set as well.

Advantages: Brilliant musicianship,superb evocative tracks Disadvantages: On e or two weak tracks
...When first released in 1986 the Graceland album was very controversial. Paul Simon had eschewed the trend of boycotting South Africa for his own policy of positive engagement with the country and its musicians. This was a time when Nelson Mandela was still a prisoner on Roben Island and trade sanctions existed banning products being supplied to or bought from South Africa.
Fortunately common sense won through and Simon had a huge world-wide hit with Graceland. This was deservedly so as the album was the first commercially successful fusion of western pop music with traditional ‘world’ music. The market trend for music from obscure countries began here and influenced many artists from Bowie to Adam Ant who used Burundi rhythms on many of his early records.
