memories of this movie and of the time it was released in the charts to me and I just love recalling it all. This track was released in 1985 and reached number 15 in the billboard charts. The music video to accompany this love song was taken from clips of the St Elmo's Fire movie also. This is an excellent track, that?s an all time favourite to me.

I first had it on cassette and then upgraded it to CD. It really looks a bit tatty on it, but that?s because it has been played a lot by me over the years, as I love it so much. 11 tracks are included on this album; all are from the originalmovie, although some are slightly edited so that they are suitable for a soundtrack album. This editing is barely noticeable though.
1 ? She Caught The Katy ? As always, this is a great intro to the album. It?s the first song you?ll hear on the film and is very much in the style of blues. A continuous guitar rhythm is followed by an equally continuous drum beat. Brass instruments, such as trumpets are occasionally heard but the real joy is the harmonica. Jake Blues (John Belushi) sings the, typically blues, lyrics well. ? 8/10

A very quirk and fun soundtrack (with a film to match)
I really enjoyed listening to this soundtrack,It took you through a wide range of emotions and feelings from more laid back tracks such as gabrielles - out of reach,to the more upbeat and positively poppy sounding its raining men (by geri heliwell)
Even if you have never seen Bridget Jones this is still an album you should buy,it has all the great songs on under one roof.
You can pick it up for about a fiver now which for 19 songs is pretty good value I think.
Definately not an album you will regret buying, I think every song has been carefully picked and used,from artful dodgers woman trouble to the pretenders dont get me wrong,this soundtrack has alot to offer and much more.
