...An album of remixed Phil Collins tracks performed by r&b and hip hop artists. Risky, seeing as the man himself as churned out classic after classic and as you can imagine it wasnt well received by, well anyone. I did however purchase because i like Phil Collins and i like hip hop & r&b so i took a chance. I should have spent my money on buying that indoor ten pin bowling set instead. Saying that there is a couple of decent tunes on here but as a whole, not the greatest ive spent my money on Tracks Another Day In Paradise - Ray J & Brandy. The single to come off this album was received quite well, not a bad video and the brother sister duet that everyone wanted to hear. An up to date version but not better than the original. You may find me saying that more often than not Sussudio - Ol Dirty Bastard. Shocking. No resemblence... Read review

Hotpants Workout - It really works!

Advantages: good fun, dance routines make the sessions fly by!
Disadvantages: lots of stomach crunches towards the end ;-/

...I was tempted to turn this DVD off and throw it in the trash after watching just the introduction to this workout, yet my opinion was soon to change after getting over the initial annoyance of the backing music and the fact that I could never, EVER be as toned and beautiful as the dancers showing me the moves! This DVD provides an excellent workout, with the steps explained to you well, even if some of them take a little practice! I now use this routine as part of my daily work out and have lost a significant amount of weight, as well as toning up a lot since beginning the workout a few months ago, it really does work- and you can feel the evidence of that after even one session! There is an excellent variety of slow, and fast paced routines and the warm down section in particular- although slightly grueling if you are not a fan... Read review

Advantages: Brilliant electronic music
Disadvantages: quite strange

...Rephlexions (various artists) is the next installment of compilation albums on the Rephlex record label. It features another set of tracks by the key players on the label and is equally as good as the first compilation (Braindance (various artists)) The sounds are spaced out emotional and very original explorations of electronia. The CD kicks off with some mellow keys on which glitchy drum and bass future breaks are laid on top. The second tracks goes straight into a gentle industrial clanking atmosphere where a glimmering machine sits in a castle basement, blue light floods through the window in the middle of the night, the machine gets more energy as the track progresses.All the tracks seem to have concepts behind them waiting to be discovered. I especially like track 14 'It aint perfect till its perfect' by LIKE-A-TIM, which sounds... Read review
