A more mature Gogol Bordello?

Advantages: Some very good songs, instrumentally fine
Disadvantages: Music less eclectic, lyrics not as interesting as before

Super Taranta is the 4th and most recent album by Gogol Bordello, released in 2007 by Side One Dummy. The band continues with their more polished sound that was evident on Underdog World Strike, I find the music less eclectic than on the previous album but the lyrics in several cases are even better. ...tracks include "Super Theory of Super Everything", a cleaned up version of "Strange Uncles from Abroad" which was first released on the EP East Infection. Also "Zina Marina" - a fairly simple but effective track and "Wonderlust King". Instrumentally tracks like "Super Taranta" and "Harem in Tuscany" are more or less perfect. The music itself seems to be getting more mature and refined and less crazy, apart from American Wedding and Wonderlust King ...

Advantages: Exciting; unique; passionate; challenging
Disadvantages: Well, it's in Polish, so some may find that a disadvantage...
