Advantages: Fun game for a while, easy to play Disadvantages: Too repetitive, to easy to complete
This review is for the game, 7 Wonders of the Ancient World, a game for the Nintendo DS developed by Hot Lava Games and published by MumboJumbo Software. The game is essentially a puzzle game where you have to match up similar objects to progress through the game.
The game is based on Bejeweled, a popular game where you have to match up three or more runes to be able to progress through the game. The title of the game is based on the seven different levels you work through, ie, the great pyramids, Temple of Artemis, Statue of Zeus, Mausolus Mausoleum, the Lighthouse of Alexandra, the Colossus of Rhodes, and the hanging gardens of Babylon.
Really the game doesn?t change as you play it, you are faced just with differently design boards, and some additional features where you can blast away some of the runes in different ways such as ...
Advantages: A good place for new politics students to start. Disadvantages: A cop-out ending and little of substance.
Documentary-maker Spurlock is determined to make the world a safer place for his unborn child. So he sets out to discover the whereabouts of the world?s most wanted man: Osama bin Laden. It doesn?t matter that he has no knowledge of Arabic, no military experience and no idea what to do if confronted by terrorists. But after a few lessons with soldiers of fortune he heads to the Middle East to do what the CIA, FBI and the world?s armed forces have failed to; find bin Laden. Before that he tries to find out where the fugitive came from, what makes him tick and what made him what he is?
Morgan Spurlock comes across as the more anarchic younger brother of documentarians such as Michael Moore. He goes for hot button topics and approaches them with visual flair and a sense of the absurd. Sure, there may be talking head interviews with key ...
Advantages: Runs really fast, Some very good features, any decent machine can run it. Disadvantages: The Price. It looks like vista and it really is just a brush up on the old OS
Windows 7 has been said by Microsoft as being much improved and everyone would be happy with the end result. But is it really better, below is my review of a few sections which I believe is most important and compare it to older versions.
Speed: 9/10
Much faster than Vista. To compare with the Vista OS, on Vista it took around 30 secs to 45 secs to boot up and log me in. Now on Windows 7 it takes 20 - 30 secs to boot up. Shut down is also so much faster. Vista = 15 secs... Windows 7 = 5 secs..... So there is a huge improvement. Also when running programs or browsing the internet you feel like this Operating System is very smooth and just does what you want (most of the time)
Program Compatablilty: 8/10
Most Programs that run on Vista will run on Windows 7 (32-bit) very well. Though (64-bit) has a few problems such as many ...
