likeStar Trekmovies: every other release is the good one. WhileMezzamorphisandTouchhad their bright moments, it was the subsequent releases ofGloandWorld Servicethat truly testify to the musical and songwriting brilliance of these faith-based Brit rockers. Lead man Martin Smith, well known within Christian music circles for his songwriting prowess (on songs such as "I Can Sing of Your Love Forever"), combines with guitarist Stu Garrard for 12 tracks filled with melody, catchy hooks, and enough crunch to satisfy anyone's cutting-edge tastes. The irresistible chorus lines in "Rain Down", "Majesty", and "Everyone Knows" show that the Smith-Garrard tandem knows a good pop song. But the more subtle and substantial element inWorld Serviceis the clear comfort the band has with each other. Drummer Stew Smith and bassist Jon Thatcher lay down rock-steady rhythms throughout while keyboardist Tim Jupp adds just enough spice to make it interesting. "Inside Outside" is a great example of this with plenty of space between each musician's moments. Delirious is clearly more confident and mature in their craft. Music fans in the Christian world and beyond will be all the better for it.--Michael Lyttle, Amazon.com

The track "paint the town red" was released as a single. This song has an amazing impact. While listening to the song for the first time I found myself brought to tears wanting to see lives changed. Delerious? formed in the early 90's. Thier lead singer Martin Smith is very well known within Christian worship music with many of his songs being sung in churches every Sunday around the world.
Delirious? have never really made it big within main stream music, primarily due to the nature of the UK music industry which (unlike USA) views christian rock or pop bands as something that won't apeal to the general public.
However, Delirious' fan base is ever increasing and all this without the dependancy of air time that main stream groups depend so highly upon. Delirious? keep on getting better and better, developing new material and experimenting with fresh sounds.

Advantages: Delirious? Are still at the top - best album of it's kind since the last one. Disadvantages: Daniel Bedingfield's on it.
A band which are as good as - if not better - than secular music is something which I have always looked for. I have found them. Delirious?. To start with, the chart sucess says it all. In the UK they have been into the top 20 singles chart repeatedly. They ahre constantly in the top 5 - if not top- of the christain rock CD's. They have over 10 years experience after starting life in Littlehampton leading youth services. They have since released 12 albums (7 of them studio ones, 5 ones are live recordings). These started with 'Cutting Edge' which were two two dics collections of the D: songs from those Littlehampton meetings. these include classic songs, which are known world over in churches.
They have also released three other live albums, D:tour live 1997, and live and in the can. Most recently, they have released a live album ...
