Wow Gospel 2003 - Various Artists

Advantages: has some classic old skool rave anthems
Disadvantages: its in the wrong category - its old skool hardcore !!

...I think the cover of this album is quite catchy, and as with the other wow what a rush albums it has some wkd tunes on. I bought this album nearly ten years ago when raves were still going strong and what value for money it is - £2.99 from HMV, it has 13 tracks including; 1 - q project - champion sound - an old skool classic with some excellent drum and bass beats not too many lyrics that sometimes spoil a good hardcore tune. 2 - fat controller - in complete darkness - another quality classic hardcore tune has few lyrics but not cheesy excellent for mixing on the decks!! 3 - n-zo & dj invincible - funky sensation - one of the more chilled out anthems with some lyrics that are a bit repetative.....do do do do do do do do. but still a good catchy tune! 4 - love nation - positive ( ad-man remix ). an excellent rave anthem... Advantages: Many different types of rock and fantstic artists - the best of 2006 and 2007
Disadvantages: Could have more hardrock artists in and and second CD hasn't as much good artists in

...A fantastic CD with lot's of different kinds of rock. The best bands of 2006 and 2007 put in one CD. Artists like Snow Patrol, Razorlight, The Fratellies, The Arctic Monkeys, Automatic, The Ordinary Boys, The Killers, Keane, Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, The Kooks and the list goes on. Has two CD's and has 40 tracks, 20 on each CD. Has new up coming artist such as Wolfmother. has many artists winners from the Brits: The Killers who won best national CD and best national band, The Arctic Monkeys won best British CD and best British band. The Fratellis won an award too and many more Brit award winning artists. A fantastic purchase well worth its money. A great buy. I recommend definitely to people anywhere between 8 and 100 if they enjoy that kind of music. It even has some live performing artists such as 'The Arctic Monkeys' on tour... Read review

Advantages: Relaxing story telling music with a bit of heart
Disadvantages: Too boring

...OK album, with a nice mix of different artist most of which i have never hear of before. As you can probably tell I'm not usually into this kind of music but being someone always looking to expand my musical horizons, I thought i would give it a go but was not too impressed. Most of the songs featured were not too impressive, many of which sounded very boring and generic for the genre. Track 15, Green Fields of France - Furey & Davey Arthur was probably one of the most impressive tracks on the album; this song featured delicately sung lyrics and an impressive story which i think is based on world war 2. Some of the other tracks were almost up to this standard but were too boring and didn't catch my attention.... Read review
