This record is released by Fat Wreck Chords, an independant record label from America set up by the Bass player from NOFX, Fat Mike (hence the name). This is the first in their line of cheap music samplers and only costs $3.98 (available for £5 in the UK). If you like this sort of music it is extremly good value for money. The album features fourteen songs from the vaults of Fat wreck Chords. The songs are all of the highest quality. Advantages: Strong band - first EP and already getting towards perfection
Disadvantages: Charlie Simpson's brothers in the band - some may write them off

...This is the debut release from London based band Brigade and is a remarkable effort for a band on their first recording. Brigade are a young band, however they sound great in this incredible 4 track EP and will no doubt progress into something even better before long. Not a single track sounds out of place with the bands epic guitar riffs, storming bass lines and crashing drum beats. The vocals also sound great here and really make way for an incredible EP, Mighty Atom have done good in signing this impressive young band. The band kicks off the CD with a bang with opener 'Made to Wreck,' a song with an impressively strong guitar riff. It really kick-starts the EP and prepares you for something truly special. ...I enjoyed this album very much. It is fairly original and memorable and deserves to be in your cd collection. It is in places very raw (alice what’s the matter) but in others very tender and melancholic (some people say). The album has many different textures from the upbeat rock (discotheque wreck) to the more happy and hypnotic ‘middleman’. The pick of the album is the second track “oblivion” – this has a kind of samba feel to it and is the instant hit, you can happily sing along to it and feel yourself jiving away without really knowing it. swing your scarves....
