Advantages: Excellent riffs and beats that you can really rock to Disadvantages: I couldn't find any!
Considering this band are relatively new on the scene, despite having been together for years and were popular locally, this album is incredible! Every track is utterly brilliant and exceedingly easy to listen to. The riff and beats are catchy but not over-used, and the lyrics, while sometimes being hard to work out (isnt that the case with most metal bands with a gruff sounding front-man?) are again really catchy. The riff and beats are catchy but not over-used, and the lyrics, while sometimes being hard to work out (isnt that the case with most metal bands with a gruff sounding front-man?) are again really catchy. I saw Head-on live once, and the quality of sound was just as awesome as what you hear on this CD. (and the entertainment value was high too). Head-on have been described as "Buffed up like WWE wrestlers with fat beats and punishing riffs and tunes that make you want to dink beer" by Metal Hammer Magazine, and although i cannot agree with the making me want to drink beer comment, it certainly does make you want to jump around and have a good time. Head-on, while sounding like Zakk Wylde, Stuck Mojo, and other heavy bands, are also capable ofalso demonstrating their softer side, with the delicate tune in Blood Flowers. This album is awesome, and i definitely reccommend giving this new band a chance. They deserve to be as huge on the scene as they are in real life!

After seeing this band live about a year ago supporting Fozzy, and checking out their website(s) i couldnt wait for this album to be released, and it was worth the wait!
