Advantages: Excellent plot, Heart warming story Disadvantages: None
The concept of going back in time to put thing right is not a new idea in novels or in movie. However, I think the best one during the last decade is the film "Frequency". It was a science fiction about a cross time radio communication between a father and son across 30 years.
--- the BASICS ---
Frequency is a science fiction film released in 2000. It starred Dennis Quaid as Frank Sullivan and James Caviezel as John Sullivan, Frank's son. The film revolved around a CB radio which was able to transmit and receive radio waves between father and son during solar flares in the years 1969 and 1999.
--- the PLOT --- (!!SPOILERS!!)
Frank and Julie Sullivan were a happy couple living with 7 year old son John. Frank was a fireman, loving father and caring husband. He was a tough in appearance but loved his son and provided the best to him. He ...

Advantages: good performances. thrilling at times Disadvantages: bit of a cheesy finale
And so my dvd collection gets rifled through so i can review it for you (hah that rhymes). This time i am looking at Frequency, a film directed by gregory hoblit (primal fear, harts war) and starring Jim Cavaziel(The thin red line, count of monte cristo) as John sullivan. Also starring Dennis Quaid (innerspace, traffic) as Frank sullivan.
John is a new york city homicide officer who's life is going badly, his girlfriend has left him and he is still traumatized by his fathers death thirty years earlier. His father Frank was a fireman who died in a big fire, Franks hobby was ham radio (no not a radio station broadcasted by pigs) and one day John finds his fathers old radio. Now at this time the northern lights are showing (aurora borealis, or sunspots or something like that) as they were the time that his father died. This means that ...

Advantages: A good plant Disadvantages: a bit invasive
Reed is a name that is used to describe many similar plants that grow in water.A reed is a plant that is grasslike with long flat leaves. The edges of the reed leaf can sometimes be very sharp .I have actually cut myself on them sometimes .
One reed is used for thatching that is a reed called Norfolk reed but some reeds are used that are grown in other countries. Water reed is a stronger more durable thatch then long wheat straw which are also used to thatch roofs. Norfolk reed is also used for fencing panels .
The Norfolk reed beds are well known as good places to go birding. Cley marsh has an area of reed bed. The bearded tit nests in these east anglian reed beds. The Sedge and the Reed warbler, the bittern and the great crested grebe are amongst other birds that use the reed beds making their nests from the reeds. There are ...

Album Notes
European musician and visual artist Angie Reed's electroclash-influenced oeuvre also recalls the 1980s New York No Wave scene, provocatrixes like Lydia Lunch, and early-21st century artists like Peaches, with whom she has performed. Loopy, herky-jerky rhythms, electronic bleeps, and vintage synth sounds combine with Reed's detached, attractively punky vocals and stream-of-consciousness lyrics for a total effect that's part quirky downtown chic and part Eurotrash cool. She also essays softer, though no less weird, acoustic interludes like "Dancing Tarantella to a Machine Gun," "Bend the Truth in the Confession Booth," and "Mistress of Grand Guignol." The total effect is chaotic, but strangely compelling.

Mojo (p.106) - 3 stars out of 5 -- "[T]he music fills in the missing link between German cabaret jazz, post-punk racket and low-tech electronica."
