Advantages: Classic yellowman Disadvantages: One or two songs which aren't amazing
Mister Yellowman by albino Jamaican reggae artist Yellowman is a pure classic, the guy's first album - originally released in 1982, it's full of legendary ragga/dancehall tracks.
Yellowman has a style of singing that is extremely chilled out, the closest in style is possibly Dillinger. Whilst the guy uses quite a lot of fillers for instance boom boom clack in Duppy or Gunman, he also uses plenty of strong lyrics in each track - in this case "gunshot respect no one", in fact that's no where near one of the best songs on the album.
That honour doesn't go to the "love song" - Morning Ride either as it's a little bit too long, nor the unbelievably catchy Mr.Chin but it has to be "Getting Married" - Yellowman really seems in a world of his own as he does impersonations of the the woman and man. It's highly entertaining, well made ...
