Album Notes: Personnel: Erroll Garner (piano); Red Callender, John Simmons, John Levy (bass); Harold \"Doc\" West, George De Paul, Nick Fatool (drums).
Advantages: A good range of songs. An extra multi-media CD. Wonderful talent. British Band. Rock music gone mainstream. Oh, if you can watch any Feeder music video then you should do that too! Disadvantages: £18 hurts my pock money.
...Is it just my perception of things or are the prices of CDs creeping back up again? We ought to report them there nasty shops to the Monopolies and Mergers Commission (of which there is only one) again. I went hunting for my Feeder fix before their new album was released and so I ended up with “Yesterday Went Too Soon.” That’s no bad thing, it’s a great album and I’ll buy the new one too. The album cost me a mighty £17.99 - see what I mean about the cost of CDs? I could have, in theory, paid over £30 for an import Feeder CD if I had wanted to. Since Feeder are (huzzah) a British band I have to ponder on the wisdom of exporting albums just so we can import them again and charge Manxi £30 for the favour.
Feeder are a band whose time has come. In the good way, that is. On an interview between M2/Brand...

Advantages: Some really stand out tracks, great instruments and great quality of tracks, Barely any bad tracks Disadvantages: None
...Feeder are now established in the big leagues of British rock music now, a new arena tour in support of Coldplay earlier this year is followed by their own arena shows to promote their latest album Comfort in Sound. Hopefully their new fans collected from their last two albums that brought them a much larger fan base will have investigated the bands previous releases. While some of their newer stuff hints too much at commercial pop, they have made an album that could be able to please most people.
Yesterday Went Too Soon was the second full album from Feeder. It combines loud guitar music with catchy hooks, attractive lyrics and melodies and ends up with probably the best album from them. There is enough on here to be associated with their next two albums, for Buck Rogers read Waiting for Changes and for Just the Way I’m Feeling...

Advantages: A singles collection on a CD Disadvantages: Booklet is in black & white and doesn`t contain song lyrics
...This CD was first released back in 1988 and was rather hard to find in the U.S. until I managed to contact a good friend of mine who was able to get this for me, with a lot of hard work. In the states, this was re-issued entitled "Fiendclub" with a black cover, released especially for the American market. It showed vocalist Nik Fiend's head in a simple circle. I would personally recommend purchasing "Yesterdays" in it's original form, especially if you are a collector.
I guess Nik & Mrs Fiend considered this their greatest hits CD at that time, although, in the years since, they have yet released other hits compilations, with different titles, and on various record labels.
The track listing on this is as follows...............
1) Ignore the machine
2) Lips can`t go
3) R.I.P. blue crumb truck
4) Dead and buried
5) E...
