Advantages: Brilliant, Fantastic Band, Disadvantages: Nothing At All.
...Well here i am again, writing an Opinion, but this time, not on Beer, not on Food, not on PC Games, but on a group, one of the best groups of the 80's. Let me explain to you.
in 1979 it was working class people from Islington in London, they were just 5 school friends who decided to create a band, they were joining the likes of Duran Duran, and others from that era, and in years to come, they would be known around the world as Spandau Ballet.
Two years earlier, there were 4 people from school, Gary Kemp, Tony Hadley, John Keeble, Steve Norman, and there friend RichardMiller, they made a band called The Makers. This band was well known for playing in the pubs of the East End of London, but in time, the group changed, with Martin Kemp, joining his brother in the band, by replacing RichardMiller. The bands name, which i found out...

Before anybody reads and rates this review, I want to stress that this review is for The Red Road album by Bill Miller, and not the live recording. Unfortunately The Red Road was not available to review so this had to suffice. With that being said on with the review. Bill Miller is a native American singer/song writer of some excellence. Born in 1955 his native name is Fush-Ya Heay Aka, meaning bird song. He is from the Stockbridge-Munsee Mohican tribe. On February 13th 2005 Bill won a Grammy for best native American music, a fitting accolade showing his tenacity and skill for producing quality music recordings. Bill currently has 15 albums under is belt and The Red Road is his sixth album and follows the Reservation Road- live album.

Advantages: A composer well versed in the art of romantic music. Disadvantages: He died over 60 years ago, so no more new songs.
...Glenn Miller was the best of his era, and the Moonlight Serenade was one of many popular songs of his immortalised in the movie, The Glenn Miller Story.
Although many people think of the Big Band Era as hokey, squeakey clean, and outdated, the music is timeless and it can still be found selling at the record stores. Other artists are continually doing covers of his music, and every once in a while a Miller composition shows up in a movie score.
Most of Miller's music was composed for his band to play without a singer. Later, words were added to his tunes, but I think the music can stand alone on its own merit.
Moonlight Serenade, String Of Pearls, Little Brown Jug...the list goes on. And one has to wonder how Miller's music may have progressed if he were not killed in WWII. It's a shame that we'll never know....
