From The Start - 3:05 Good album opener. I like the way he sings the lyrics and the music in the chorus is not loud, but not soft. "I'll let you love me like I was in your heart/Just trust like I was there from the start".
Hit Me With Your Light - 3:03 This really is a great song with a real upbeat rock chorus and the lyrics are well written. One of my faves. "Hit me with your light/Will you catch me if I fall/I would give my life/If it meant anything at all/Lord, help me carry on/Will you be there when/I'm gone".
Shine On - 3:05 This is the first single off the album and it is an up-beat track where he is telling his girlfriend that if they can or can't be friends when they break up, she will still shine on. "Shine On/You were made to/Shine On/Cause you know I love you".
Find Your Own Way - 3:23 This song has a very laid back and jazzy feel to it. The lyrics are great and i like the guitar in this song. "Tell me you'll stay/I never wanted us to break/You'll find your way..."
Photo - 3:36 The first time I listened to this song, I liked it. He is talking about a girl that left him and wishes they had one more shot at a relationship. The verses are sung well and the lyrics are great. Definately my fave track. "A photo/Can say a thousand things/ But they can't say the million things/I want to say..."
Our Story - 3:32 I like the guitars in the song. I like the verses and I like the ending when the guitars fade out. The latin tempo and theme it has is amazing. Great song overall. "This time i'll/Think of brighter days/Where i'm falling deep/Deep into our story..."
Fall Baby Fall - 3:19 This is a great ballad singing about his tears. Well written chorus. "Let 'em fall baby fall/Just like the rain washes it all..."
Last Night - 3:19 I like the opening guitars and the way the verses are sung. Not one of my fave songs though. "Last night's the last time/I'll run and hide/I wanna believe I lived my life on fire/When I go/I just want you to know".
Walking On Water - 3:39 This is another nice ballad. It's really growing on me, it sounds so pure when it plays, and his voice is so soft and sounds great on this track. "Look at you now/Holding on by yourself/Baby don't doubt/You're walking on water..."
With You Gone - 4:02 This is another great song in my opinion, very softly sung again but with a harder chorus. In this song, he sings about a girlfriend he lost and he can't get over the fact that she's gone. "With you gone/It plays on/It's so hard to move on/I want to/But I wanted you/Now you stay in my head/I'm not over you yet/I try to/But I wanted you".
It's You - 3:45 This is a very simple sounding song with a piano and violin. The song is about someone staying by his loves side until she passes away. "And though I/Made it myself/You stand watching/As my life/Passes me by". It is a great way to end the album. "Baby, It's you/When I look up in the sky I see you..."
In my opinion, this is a great album and a must buy. Ryan is a great producer, composer, singer and guitar player. This is all his own sound and it sounds great.

I heard this album a few months back, and whilst it's not what i'd usually go for, I was very impressed - "Shine On" made for a great first single. Alex
