Advantages: Digitally enhanced gives a sharper sound Disadvantages: I sometimes think 'remastered' can make music sound too perfect.
...prefer to see the design on a perfume box!
I would suggest that although there does not seem to be a song in the album that starkly stands out, it has been skilfully put together; it is melodic, good listening material. It carries the 'typically Elton' label in all the tracks and I am sure that all fans of Elton John will have already included it in their collection.
For those of you who have yet to hear a taste of Elton, this is an easy listening album to start with.
For me this album shows a softer and less flamboyant Elton, and is very pleasurable to listen to.
I do not think I could write anything extra on the 'remastered one' other than what is here already. So original or remastered, the album is recommended to all and is easily obtainable from £5.99 for the remastered release or from £1.94 used from a reputable well...

Best appreciated later, when you've had your fill of the other tracks.
