"You're a woman, I'm a machine" displays proudly on the pink yet masculine background of its sleeve, two half man, half elephant faces who may or may not have nothing to do with the aural content. As regards that, the first thing that hits you about this album is how noisy is, rather like being ripped out of your seat into the midst an elephant graveyard at the wrong time of the month. The music is dirty and desperate, reminiscent of the evil twins of The Flaming Lips or the estranged half brothers of Kate Bush's love child with Billy Childish. Some of the messiest tracks are apparently live, though the audience's cheers becoming instantly inaudible as soon as the first snare is banged to oblivion. And what better way to end an album than with a track called "Sexy Results"? Exactly.
