I personally love this album and I think that songs like "Hold On" should be written more often as they help prevent suicide and make fans feel like they can hold on to something in their lives. ...10/10 Track 12: The Young and the Hopeless Starts with a single guitar and vocals kick in, drums and other guitars join in and it's definitely a rockier track on the album. Again most teenagers could relate to this song as it's about fighting back and making your own way. The album starts with an interesting 2 minute instrumental - certainly a different way to start an album - before launching straight into the Anthem. This is one of my favourite tracks on the album, and probably the most catchy. It's about being different and not fitting in, a recurring theme on the album. This is followed by Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous, which, ...
...on the album. The Young and the Hopeless, is the fourth, most ambtious and best song on the album. The subject is exactly what the title suggests, and it also contains a dig at the critics who have put Good Charlotte down "When I sing about my past, its not a gimmick not an act".
