Advantages: Great sound and fantastic lyrics - a beautiful album. Disadvantages: Too short!!! You'll wish it was twice as long and you'll put it on repeat!

5) Shake Your Hair (2:34)
I would say this has got to be the fastest song on the album, with a slow start that builds up crescendo-like to some great, sunny, funny, happy lyrics that are guaranteed to make you smile. "you shake your hair, like a dog, you make me laugh, I sing you songs, it's easy" Wow. Brilliant!
6) Sorry For Calling So Late (1:51)
Another very short song, this has a teardrop glockenspiel effect through it which is ... ...the ability to stay in your mind for ages. The words are perfect, achingly heartfelt, accepting, and I can guarantee you'll be singing it while you're waiting for the kettle to boil in the staff canteen, or under your breath at the bus stop on the way home. *****The Album*****
"Montpelier" is Jane's debut album, and it is, along with JohnEgdell's "YourBigDay" and Nev Clay's "Pearshaped" one of the few albums I can listen to all the way through without stopping and skipping tracks and I can have on repeat for hours at a time.
Fall On Me (4:41)
This is the song that helped Jane reach the place she's at now - she played it live on Johnnie Walker's Drive Time show on BBC Radio 2 in February to a great reception and it helped more people get an idea of how talented she is. It's a gorgeous song about that one person who you can lean on and who can lean on you, and about all the things you don't say because maybe you don't need to because maybe they're already out there, flying like invisible thoughts round the people you love, already known and understood.
