...knobs and playing with things in the studio to make some noise. I can't think of any better explanation. Leave it to the poncey Sunday supplements to decide if this is "ground breaking", "edgy", "cutting", or whatever other buzzword some up-and-coming journo uses these days, because as a purely musical album it ain't got much to recommend it.
When the 'Head do get it going and actually produce something approaching a song, as in the fab lazy jazz sound of Living In A Glass House (with HumphreyLyttelton playing) and the sparse but nicely structured Pyramid Song, they show they are still capable of grinding today's opposition into the dust. Oh that the brothers Gallacher wished they could write such as the bittersweet rambling guitar line that is Knives Out "look into my eyes, it's the only way you'll ever repel the truth...

Advantages: A great album to get you in the mood for a night out Disadvantages: A couple of weak links
..., in this light hearted thought of men falling out of the sky, after which the women can take their pick.
“Stars” by Simply Red, released in 1992, slows the beat a little, and the opening bars of the song, provide a strong backdrop to the soulful tones of Mick Hucknall. The addition of the piano, makes this a memorable track and Mick’s voice is full of emotion as he proclaims his love and the fact that “I wanna fall from the stars,

Advantages: emo with a injection of fun Disadvantages: absolutly none
...fallout boy, chicago "punk/pop" 4 peice. The debut album kicks off with "Tell That Mick He Just Made My List of Things to Do Today" which has remenats with early less than jake meets funeral for a freind, more ska/emo than punk/pop. As the album continues the pure class and talent of this fairly new band builds and build. Every single song on this album makes you want to to dance from the very off. Every song on this album is a good track and its hard to pick a stand alone track which symbolises this album but "Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes" comes very close to this, encorparating the gifted vocals, the guitar flare, the chugging bass riffs and the timely drumming that is fall out boy.
Put on your checkered slip on vans and tight jeans around yoru arse and go out and buy this record.
