Advantages: Rare album with all tracks as good as each other
Disadvantages: Different to traditional Bon Jovi albums

...In 1990, Jon Bon Jovi branched out from the other members of Bon Jovi to make a solo album. This is the result: an album which is officially linked to the feature film 'Young Guns II: Blaze of Glory', and which features vocal and musical talents of such stars as Elton John, Little Richard and Randy Jackson. I came across this album when I first watched Young Guns II, sometime in the mid 1990s. I loved it immediately. The sad thing is that only one track made it big: Blaze of Glory, the title track and theme tune for the film. It features on Bon Jovi's best of album, titled 'Crossroads', but I feel there are others tracks on this CD that are better. There are 11 tracks in all: 1. Billy Get Your Guns 2. Miracle 3. Advantages: Someday i'll be saturday night

...Im sorry but I do get annoyed by the following. 1) Bon Jovi are a band, Jon Bon Jovi is a man, so therefore the following statement 'Cross Road, by Bon Jovi, I like him' is wrong. 2) Cross Road is the name of this album not Crossroads. There is a difference. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyway the album Cross Road is Bon Jovi's only to date Greatest Hits album (except for maybe This Left Feels Right, but that is different and will be reviewed by me later) released in October 1993. The first offering on the album is LIVING ON A PRAYER or LOAP as many Bon Jovi fans call it. This song is a timeless classic rock song that is Bon Jovi through and through. ...Following three successful tours in the last four years, with the most recent being the Bounce tour, Bon Jovi have finally decided to release their “acoustic” album. After teasing many fans during the last tour by announcing that certain concerts would be acoustic, and the disappointment that some British fans felt at not being the lucky ones to have an acoustic gig played on their home turf, I thought that this album would make up for missing out on the acoustic concerts. Bon Jovi have been my favourite band since I was 10, and I have always loved hearing their songs done in acoustic style, prior to this album we had to make do with snippets that were downloaded from the net, as there was very few Bon Jovi acoustic songs available to buy.
