Advantages: Few if any weak songs, Unusual, Very catchy Disadvantages: Some may not class it as 'heavy'
...Mutter, Rammstein's third album and one of their best too. Almost all the songs stand up to close scrutiny. Every track is different to the next. Upon listening to Mutter I was instantly hooked to the album. This album thrust Rammstein into the spotlight through its unforgettable track listing...
1. Mein Herz Brennt
Starts off slow, but Mein Herz Brennt soon hits the chorus and after that, there is no stopping this wonderful song. The keyboarding is excellent and one of Flake's best performances. Incredibly catchy and easy to sing along to. 5/5
2. Links 2 3 4
Starting with marching, soon commencing to the trademark vocals and drums. Catchy and unstoppable, Links 2 3 4 is almost perfect, Till's vocals are superb as always and the highlight of this song. Though it is slightly repetitive at times, this being the only let down...

Everything flows just as smoothly as on the recorded sessions, maintaining the precision machine effect Rammstein try so hard to create.
Sadly, you'd be hard pressed to find performances of songs from Mutter, with most stemming from the "Live Aus Berlin" era of the first two albums, Herzeleid and Sehnsucht. So Just be content with knowing that, with Mutter, Rammstein are back better than ever.
The album starts with the haunting intro to Mein Herz Brennt (My Heart Burns), an incredible string selection with lead singer Till gently purring...
