Advantages: all great tracks, smooth jazzy beats Disadvantages: none
...this undoubtedly is one of the best rap albums ever made, the production on this is gritty but really good, it has haunting piano samples and drum loops which really suit the dark mood of the songs and the album, havoc and prodigy are really smooth rappers as well, they may not be as charismatic as say, biggie, nas, or Big L, but they are still great, they both have really good flows(especially prodigy), really good lyrics, multi syllable rhyming and wordplay, the subject matter on this album is really dark too, mobb deep rap about running from police, friends in prison, depression, and various other things, although now mobb deep have signed to g unit and are no as good, back in 1995 they were great, if you are a rap fan i would highly recommend this, if you dont already have it, you will not be disappointed...

Advantages: Not all too classical jazz but has some heaveir jazz tracks in there. Amazing voice and pianist. Got some of his own songs. Disadvantages: I cant really say anything here, apart from he could have chosen some better covers.
...This has to be one of my favourite albums of all time.
Iv'e never creally been interested in jazz at all until he played on the Parkinson show a while back and i just loved his music.
They recored this album in anologue, instead of digital which makes his voice sound more warmer, softer and i think that made a great difference to the way this album sounds.
His piano solos in almost every song are unbelievable and are just perfect. His has his own style of jazz and he has made such an impact on the music industry, hes made a new sound to jazz. And i would strongley recomend seeing him live, its breath takeing.
This guy is the one to watch out for....

sort of like a play of words, a fine song that muses which dont come around to drag as it may seem.

kinda like in these times ever since the overkill that took place when alternative music became no longer as the music for the outcast, but have rather become successful to hit the popular charts in the 90's, which develops to those wannabe-rock boy bands and ultimately the death of the music industry caused by pop stars like Brutney Spears and the advent of latino f*ck, hell! there ain’t nothing good anymore to hear on the radio these days. In this case, its quite amusing to listen...
