This album has 12 songs and the songs are very good songs, most of the songs are very catchy and the words to the songs are great. the songs also has a good tune. Although the songs are great I wish that they were a little bit more songs on the album. Satisfied is a good song and the tilte tells you want the song is all about. "Black sweat" is 3:12 and it is the number 4 song on the album and it is basical a song about dancing. Advantages: Another Level has a number of excellent tracks, capably written and beautifully produced and sang. These tracks serve to get even the most timid of people moving their hips.
Disadvantages: Another Level has the odd track that makes the listener cinge and desperately reach for the "next track" button. These tracks irreconcivbley ruin the flow of the album

...regret that?.....Not sure really. Another Level is a fairly long album that simply doesnt have the flow and completness of its predessecor. It starts off in good breath with "no diggity" and and two back to back emotive ballads providing a nice early pace. But after beautiful "Never let you go" the album, sadly begins to lose its legs. Really Another Level gives the impression that it is very aware of what it is trying to match or eminate in that it goes into a different direction, which is ok but gets lost, scared and looks for help in anything it can lay its hands on (which is not ok), most of which are not at all needed. this album is the start of a long stream of prince albums designed to fulfill the remainder of his contract with warner brothers and not coincedentally is the first prince album i have heard (although some say it started with diamonds and pearls) that has more than one or two unmemorable songs. the whole album is grey in colour and while this shouldnt put anyone off the album it is quite ironic as the album at times is quite generic. the album ...
...to bother explaining what its about! but it is quite filthy at times! this is actually a good song and the first four, maybe five minutes are enjoyable. however, it lasts nearly twelve minutes and for no good reason really, other than to give the horns a solo. this ruins a perfectly good song and many times i have listened to this song and sort of 'woke up' nearly ten minutes later and think is this still playing? the second song is similar to 'come' ...
