This album has 12 songs and the songs are very good songs, most of the songs are very catchy and the words to the songs are great. the songs also has a good tune. Although the songs are great I wish that they were a little bit more songs on the album. Prince has a nice voice so you will enjoy listening to him and even though the album only have 12 songs most of the songs on the album are long like the longest song on the album is the last song which ...
...that song is 6 minutes and 18 seconds. Most of the songs are 4 minutes long except for 3 songs. "Satisfied" is the shorts song because it is only 2:50. Satisfied is a good song and the tilte tells you want the song is all about. "Black sweat" is 3:12 and it is the number 4 song on the album and it is basical a song about dancing. Advantages: Another Level has a number of excellent tracks, capably written and beautifully produced and sang. These tracks serve to get even the most timid of people moving their hips.
Disadvantages: Another Level has the odd track that makes the listener cinge and desperately reach for the "next track" button. These tracks irreconcivbley ruin the flow of the album

...regret that?.....Not sure really. Another Level is a fairly long album that simply doesnt have the flow and completness of its predessecor. It starts off in good breath with "no diggity" and and two back to back emotive ballads providing a nice early pace. But after beautiful "Never let you go" the album, sadly begins to lose its legs. Really Another Level gives the impression that it is very aware of what it is trying to match or eminate in that it goes into a different direction, which is ok but gets lost, scared and looks for help in anything it can lay its hands on (which is not ok), most of which are not at all needed. The acid jazz overtones of the Brand New Heavies make them quite unlike any other band I have the fortune to have in my collection. You might never have heard of them, but it’s likely you know a couple of songs off this album, as they’re pretty well known. The two infinitely poppie tracks – ‘Dream On Dreamer’ and ‘Midnight At The Oasis’ rose fairly high in the charts in the mid-90s, and while they are great tracks, there’s some much better tracks ...
...‘Snake Hips’) are perfect examples, as they are both excellent tracks without the need for vocals, such is the musical skill of the rest of the band. N’dea Davenport’s smooth vocals make all the difference however, and her vocal power transforms some tracks from something brilliant into something altogether more exciting.
