    Advantages Advantages A beautiful uplifting song which can be bought at a bargain price

    Disadvantages Disadvantages A cover, so people might prefer another artists version.

    Anthony Newley originaly wrote this song. It is so beautiful and melodious that it has been covered by around 19 artists! Including the likes of Michael Buble, Nina Simone and Bobby Darin but it's the hugely talented Muse who bring it bang up to date without losing any of the emotion or drama. Personally I am a huge fan of Muse and I own the album 'Origin of Symmetry' of which this single is taken from. I believe they are a hugely influencial band and create extremely interesting sounds within their music, for instance during the song, Matt (lead vox) sings the last verse through a megaphone ... more

    Advantages Advantages Good cover

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Isn't as good as Nina Simone's version

    Muse have always been a band that I have loved one minute and then hated a next. They have a unique sound through the wining of their guitars and lead vocalist Matt Bellamy. Feeling Good was written by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse for the 1964 musical The Roar of the Greasepaint—the Smell of the Crowd and since then has been covered by many artists, including Nina Simone, Sammy Davis Jr, Michael Bublé and even The Pussycat Dolls.
