Review of 20 Years Of Jethro Tull - Jethro Tull by
rocking
Advantages: Set The Standards For Box Sets To Come
Disadvantages: None
This boxed set contained a beautifully illustrated information packed booklet accompany 65 tracks compromising live and radio session versions of old favourites, hard to find B-sides and other rarities, plus 16 previously unreleased studio songs. Amongst the gems on this album are withdrawn singles ‘Lick Your Fingers Clean” from 1971 and “Beltane” from 1978 plus three pieces from a shelved project from 1972. Quality control ...

Deadwing - nearly porcupine tree's best
Review of Deadwing - Porcupine Tree by
salmonf1
Advantages: heavy guitars in places along with nice vocals
Disadvantages: not many 'anthem' tracks
...other albums they have made, Deadwing is perhaps not the best, but it rates quite high in my opinion, especially tracks like open car and shallow. There is little to fault about the album, all the tracks are superbly written, deep lyrics sung with good pleasent voices, excellent musician ships and good rhythms. there will be some fans of their earlier stuff, that will not take to the album as i have, for it is not as progressive and moves closer ...

Viva la vida, death and all his friends,
Review of Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends (Special Edition) [Digipak] [ECD] - Coldplay by
gillsforhullcity
Advantages: A breath of fresh air and keeps you hooked for months if not more
Disadvantages: some of the songs are familiar to previous albums
...the songs everyone knows are viva la vida; the none drums but satisfying backbeat. and violet hill the only song on the album which sounds like a previous song. these two singles have reached number three in the charts so that speaks for itself. but what some people dont realise is that ALL of the other songs are just as good, just because they aren't as popular YET does not mean they are not good. songs like LOST! are a good example this song has ...

www.robinminjauw.be
Advantages: greatest Bee gees album ever
Disadvantages: none
...I still think
the album Odessa is a masterpiece of popart.
Even after all these years I reguraly listen to it.And there are some
great songs on it like " lamplight", sound of love of course first of may
and many others. For me the Odessa album is what the pepper album
was for the beatles fans. From that moment on I believed bee gees

"I can STILL hear you saying..."
Review of Rumours (Expanded And Remastered) - Fleetwood Mac by
Wolfette
Advantages: The sound quality is outstanding
Disadvantages: None
...Want to Know'), gives us Rumours almost as it should have been. I will add however, that I actually prefer the version of 'Silver Springs' on disc 2, as the one placed here is the single edit, which I find too short!. Personally though, rather than placing it after 'Songbird', I would have put it following 'Go Your Own Way', as that was the single it was the b-side to. Disc 2: Some of these we could probably have done without, but most make it worth ... ...that Lindsey was playing around with this idea back in the 1973 days of Buckingham Nicks. 'You Make Loving Fun' is absolutely wonderful, with Stevie's harmony vocals very clear, and keyboards and guitar to the fore. 'Gold Dust Woman #1' doesn't have the famous "...pale shadow of a woman..." vocal, but some haunting 'oohs & aaahhs' instead. 'Gold Dust Woman #2' is an earlier demo, which turns into 'If You Ever Did Believe' (a song released by Stevie ...
