I wasn't sure about buying this CD at first as I thought it would just be a collection of songs that weren't good enough to be put on the proper ablums. But after hearing one or two of the songs I soon realised that they were just as good as some of the songs on Hot Fuss and Sam's Town. Disadvantages: Reworked tracks sounded better on EP

After being featured in the Rolling Stones Top 10 for 2008, and the BBC's Ones To Watch list, Black Kids album was deffinatly one i was looking out for, and when i finally got round to buying and listening to the album, i was not disapointed! Carrying over tracks from the EP such as "Hit the Heartbrakes", "Hurricane Jane", "I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend...", and "I've Underestimated My Charm", already sets off the album to a great start with ...
...felt were good enough to live up to the hype surrounding the first EP. Regardless, i would say this is a album well worth owning, sing and dance along tracks like the fantastic single "I'm Not Gonna Teach Your Boyfriend", aren't going to change your life, or make you want to get up off your sofa and make a difference, but this album will make you smile, dance, and set your day of to a great start. ...Punk with an edge then Pulley are the band for you and especially this album. This is a clean cut, fun album full of good sing a long tracks and a few really gems. Pulley are almost like a super group in the punk world, comprising of members of some really respected punk bands such as strung out, ten foot pole etc. The album opener 'Working Class Whore' sets the tone for the album, it is the type of song which you are already singing along to by ...
...album fires along at rapid pace like any good punk album does with some great songs along the way. Advantages: The music is fun, vocally excellent and instrumentally uplifting also.
Disadvantages: The tracks all sound pretty much the same.

...the first track present on this album is in fact the excellent 'The Beginning of the Twist'. With it's catchy chorus and fine use of guitar; this is a track which provides the album with a perfect start and from here on in never does the bands music disappoint. All the bands tracks sound fairly similar, if you like one song from this album you'll like them all though and with every track here the band always has much to offer with its sound. The ...
...of my personal favourites from this album is 'Radio Heart', it was the second single lifted from this release and truly is an absolutely exceptional track. If you loved such Futureheads hits as 'Hounds of Love' and 'Decent Days and Nights' then you should most certainly have a fine appreciation for this one from the band too. The chorus is powerfully belted out by the band, it's a great track to sing along to and never is a dull moment provided here. ... Read review

...a girl You'll like this if - you like a bit of angst, you have other Counting Crows albums, you like silly lyrics Listen to - on your own Another great release by this band. This is not their best album but is still a fabulous peice of work. The lyrics on most of this album make absolutely no sense but if that isnt the sort of thing to bother then you will love them.
