Advantages: great to listen to whatever mood you are in!
Disadvantages: just that its not new material- its the same songs as 'Songs about Jane'

After my first listen of Maroon 5's album; 'Songs about Jane' Maroon 5 instantly became my favourite band of the year- I had the album on constant repeat for quite some time! When this acoustic album was released- I have to admit I was slightly cynical- afterall the songs on this album are more or less the same as what is on 'Songs about Jane' so what can be so different? Am I wasting my money buying this album? And the answer is....No, I didn't ...
...same in lyrics, but the acoustic versions are much more melodic and Adam Levine's voice is in fantastic form on this album. The only downside is that it will have you gagging to go and see the band live, if that can be called a downside! Its a perfect album to play while you sit back, kick off your shoes, put that headset on, close your eyes and Imagine Maroon 5 are in your living room giving you a private showcase of their talent! ... Advantages: Summery Britpop greatness from Irish kids

Hello there! Like most others, I feel compelled to review this as I grew up with the singles playing at school disco's and the like. Aah....nostalgia! They don't build 'em like Ash anymore! First up, I own all Ash albums bar 'Free all angels', so a quick comment on the group. I bought this CD at the same time I bought the 70s CD as in my previous review. The cover is basically the same design as the 70s CD but instead of brown it is pink and blue circles. Although I liked the 70s CD I suppose the 80s is more my thing as I had just become a teenager in 1980 and was starting to appreciate music more, there are a lot of great memories on this CD for me and some I would rather forget lol such as hair do's and clothes etc. ...
...I used to hate it when my parents brought out their old records from 50s and 60s etc and used to cringe now I am afraid it is my son who cringes when I play 70s and 80s music how old does that make me feel lol. ...the American copy is called 02 but when it was released in the UK they were forbid from using 02 as the name because of the phone company so I believe it was called O Town 2. ...this song a 4/5 2. These are the Days This was the only single O Town released in the UK from this album. This has quite a rocky edge to it and Jacobs voice really suits the song at the beginning because its very gravely. Advantages: Distinctive sound, incredible guitar/keyboard album.
Disadvantages: A bit samey, and weak in the middle.

There's not a great deal I could say about Pink Floyd's 1975 album that hasn't already been said. But obviously, you know, I'll try and stuff.
