Advantages: Low key background music

I have to admit firstly to being a Morse fan, and that was what made me buy this album. But the truth is I play it now because its just great background music. I spend a lot of time working on my own and therfore like to play music in the background, however many types of music become intrusive on your work but not this. ...as a love song from Will to Grace, it is probably the only track (aside from 'He's Hot' - a collection of sound bites to music) that can be classed as Will and Grace music. Megan Mullally, a phenomenal singer, should have been given more opportunity to shine, in my eyes, with only a short duet on this album. Advantages: a great film, catchy music
Disadvantages: quite a dark film to watch

...With Johnny Depp playing Sweeney Todd and Helena Bonham Carter playing Mrs Wilhemina Lovett, you can't go wrong. Depp's singing voice is so husky and gritty, so well suited for the part, where as Carter's singing voice is somewhat sweet and innocent for the most part, it really gives the character a twist. This amazing soundtrack includes 20 great tracks recorded by the actual cast! When we heard Johnny Depp would be doing his own singing on the tracks, we were unsure as to how attuned his vocal chords were, but as it has become evident with the soundtrack and the film, his voice is just right for the part! I recently reviewed the film Love Actually in which I wrote of what a great film, I thought it was, and that it was different in the way that there were so many stories going on all at one, however it did not make it confusing in any way, shape or form. One of the other reasons, what makes Love Actually a great film is the soundtrack. A film can be great, however without the right songs in the appropriate places, it can actually spoil the film. ...
